ABOUT NEHA The New England Historical Association, a regional affiliate of the American Historical Association, was organized in 1965 and incorporated in 2021 to serve the interests of historians of all specialties residing in New England and elsewhere, whether professional or amateur, academic or non-academic. NEHA provides a professional forum in which its members can present and exchange research, study, and teaching experience about any area of history. We share resources and information about the varied practice and discipline of history and maintain connections with the broader field in its regional, national, and international dimensions. | OUR NEXT CONFERENCE The New England Historical Association cordially welcomes you to its Fall Conference at Fairfield University, Fairfield, CT on Friday September 25 and Saturday, September 26, 2026. ONLINE REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN. Discounted conference pre-registration is open until September 18, 2026 at 5:00 pm ($20). After September 18, 2026 the base fee for the conference becomes $30. We waive conference registration fee for undergraduate students - Contact Sean Perrone, Executive Secretary at neha.execsec@gmail.com for passcode. Conference Elements and Pricing $20 Discounted Pre-Registration Fee before September 18 for the Conference. $30 Registration Fee after September 18. $30 Saturday Buffet Luncheon and Presidential Address Pre-registration before September 18 is strongly recommended. There may be availability of same-day lunch meal tickets for late or walk-in registrations on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that on Friday, September 25 from 5:00-6:30 p.m. at the Barone Campus Center, Dogwood Room, there will be a reception and panel discussion “A Dialogue on Public History.” The moderate is Elena Rosario, Fairfield University. The Panelists are Todd Gernes, Stonehill College; Jason Mancini, Connecticut Humanities; Kyera Singleton, Royall House and Slave Quarters. Complimentary light refreshments will be served.
